Did you know you might be eligible for a major discount on your school property taxes or rent? To help ease the financial burden on our community members, the North Penn School District offers a local rebate program that mirrors the Pennsylvania State Property Tax/Rent Rebate (Form PA-1000).

If you qualify for the state program, North Penn will match up to 65% of your state rebate, putting up to an additional $1,000 back in your pocket. Even if you haven't qualified in past years, recent state-wide income expansions mean you may be eligible now!

To qualify for this discount, applicants must have a household income of no more than $48,110 annually, and:

• Be 65 years of age or older; or

• Be a widow and widower aged 50 years of age or older; or

• Be permanently disabled and 18 years of age or older.

• Be enrolled in the state rebate program prior to qualifying
